GoToAssist

GoToAssist  provides remote system support tool. All the client needs to do is visit a url and login with credentials provided by the technician.

Get started with GoToAssist:
From www.gotoassist.com provide credentials and create an account and then login.

After logging in direct the customer to www.fastsupport.com and click on start session. A file will be downloaded click on it and run it.


After installing the software the support window will open pass the support key to the customer.

The customer needs to login with the key and a file will be downloaded. The application has to run and installed on the customer computer.
After installing and granting permission by the customer the session will be started and we can access to the remote computer.

Unattended Suppport:
We can also setup for unattended support and can access to the remote desktop even when there is no person sitting at the remote computer.

On the remote side the person has to allow for unattended support.

Create a nickname on  your side.

Select a Device Group and click next.

Click on Unattended option in the expert support window and then choose view unattended computers. We will find the list of unattended computers select and click on connect.

The session will be created without any person required on the customer side.
